Peacefully on 30 August 2025, aged 98, at Murrayfield House, Edinburgh.

Much-loved husband to Marjorie; father to Michael and Odell; grandfather to Natasha, Alex and Katie; and great-grandfather to Odell-May, Rosalind and Cassandra. Charles will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

Charles wished his remains to be donated to Dundee University for medical research and accordingly the family will hold a private family memorial for him.
